Hammond Park is the jewel of the City's parks and reserves and is accessed by a large number of people throughout the year.
Hammond Park houses a native bird and animal collection that can be seen by those visiting the park and a variety of fish and birds using the pond area. Hammond Park is home to the City's minature Bavarian Castle, which can be viewed daily. A large number of groups and organistions utilise the park for functions, parties, bbq's, christenings, wedding and community days. It is a popular venue for family groups and children. There are two separate bbq areas with sheltered seating for hire and a large gazebo area. * No vehicles are permitted on the grounds unless prior approval has been provided by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. A request can be made upon booking. All vehicles permitted on the grounds are to stay on the gravel track provided. The Organisers must take care to avoid causing any damage or disrepair to, and must not carry out any alterations to the Heritage Listed Rotunda.
